Will continue to fight people’s war despite heart disease: Qadri
BHAKKAR: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr Allama Tahirul Qadri Monday said he was suffering from heart a disease and feeling severe weakness as a result but despite that he had come back to Pakistan to fight the “people’s war”.

“No ailment can block the way of my struggle,” he said while talking to media persons after the inauguration of the tomb of Noor Sultan here.

He said he had promised the people of Pakistan to continue to fight their battle and ensure his participation in all the programs according to their schedule.

Dr Qadri said his health condition deteriorated due to long travel but added that he would attend tomorrow’s sit-in.

He said he had already rejected the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to investigate the Model Town killings incident and considered the move nothing more than a ‘drama’.
