Siraj urges resumption of Govt-PTI talks by Dec 16
LAHORE: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Siraj ul Haq on Monday urged the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to resume talks before December 16 – the day when PTI Chairman Imran Khan claimed he would shut down the whole country.

According to a statement issued here, JI Ameer Siraj ul Haq asked the government to take the first step towards resuming the stalled talks with PTI.

He also urged the government and opposition to appoint the permanent Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) as early as possible.

He said that government had made a promise to bring electoral reforms and demanded its fulfillment.

Siraj ul Haq said the prevailing circumstances demand of us to learn a lesson from the past experiences, warning of political crisis in key cities of the country ahead.
