Mystery surrounds Quetta SHO ‘suicide’

QUETTA: Sajid Habib, SHO of Satellite Police Station, allegedly shot himself to death on late Monday night.

SP Sariab Town Imran Qureshi said that SHO Sajid Hussain attended a meeting on anti-polio drive held at the CCPO office and left for Bijli Road Police Station where he shot himself in the room of a police official.

However, Shams Habib, a brother of the deceased, urged police to ascertain the cause of death as the SHO was a brave man who could not commit suicide.

Shams Habib was a native of Mansehra, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and was recently posted at Satellite Police Station.
