Siraj links resolution of political crisis with judicial body
ISLAMABAD: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq Wednesday said the political crisis would be resolved if the government decides to constitute a judicial commission over the issue of alleged rigging in 2013 elections.

Talking to media representatives after calling on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, the JI Amir said the government has still not returned to the dialogue table, ‘so how can we try to convince PTI to withdraw their announcements for protest?’

He said his party has been trying in good faith to bring the two sides at negotiation table.

Over the issue of the appointment of permanent Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Sirajul Haq said he was contacted by the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah to discuss the matter.
