LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq Saturday urged the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to be more flexible and to come back to the negotiation table.
Talking to media persons, the JI Amir said the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) has rekindled a hope for transparent elections in future.
He termed the government assurance to quit on establishment of rigging charges as a welcome move.
He warned that justice-loving forces would be at PTI’s side, if the government backed out on its commitment.
Sirajul Haq urged the PTI to put its trust in government’s announcement and take a step forward for talks.
“If rigging charges proved, no one would have any mercy for the government,” he said.
