Sialkot: MQM district vice president Bao Anwar gunned down

SIALKOT: Unidentified armed men shot dead Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) district Vice President Bao Muhammad Anwar in Sialkot, Geo News reported.

Bao Anwar was gunned down by armed miscreants, riding on motorcycle, at Shahabpura road.

Meanwhile, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned killing of Bao Anwar and demanded Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar to apprehend the assailants.

According to MQM statement, Bao Anwar was standing outside a restaurant along with his son and brother when armed men opened fire, killing him instantly.

It further said police was present close to the site of the incident but they did not take any action.
