Imran's plan 'C' is a suicide attack on the economy: Qadri

LAHORE: Spokesperson for the Punjab government Zaeem Qadri says, Imran Khan’s plan C is a suicide attack on the economy of Pakistan.

Speaking to journalists in outside the Punjab Assembly in Lahore, Qadri added, that blocking roads and shutting them down for traffic is against the constitution and the law of Pakistan. He said, the government is bound to protect the rights of the businessmen and citizens.

Qadri said, Imran Khan hopes to shut down Lahore to weaken the economy, adding that in one day Faisalabad faced a loss of Rs. 20 billion due to the shut down. He said, in Karachi the losses could go as high as Rs. 70-80 billion.

Qadri said he was hoping that after the government agreed to an unconditional dialogue with PTI, Imran Khan would have shown some political-maturity and would call of his protests, but he has proven that he wants to come into power through back-door diplomacy.
