Lahore: PTI activists stage protest demo at Bhatta Chowk

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists staged protest demonstration at Bhatta Chowk and suspended traffic by burning tyres on the road, Geo News reported.

During PTI’s protest rally, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supporters also raised slogans in favour of their leader at Defence roundabout.

It may be noted here that Imran Khan has announced to shut Lahore city at 18 different points in protest against alleged poll rigging in 2013 general elections.

Owing to PTI’s protest in the city, extra contingent of police have been deployed at various locations.
