LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq Tuesday urged the oppressed class of people to stand by him in his party’s cause to defeat the political high-class as well as elites.
In a media statement, Sirjul Haq said the ruling class has altered both Pakistan’s ideology as well as its geography.
He said instead of giving relief to the masses by selling out national assets, the ruling class stashed the proceeds in their foreign accounts.
The JI Amir said his party’s welfare wing called Al-Khidmat Foundation has a wide network of volunteers across the country. In the last five years the Foundation spent Rs23 billion on public service, he added.
