CRC vows to defend 18th Amendment in SC
ISLAMABAD: The Constitutional Reforms Committee (CRC) of the Parliament today decided to defend the 18th Amendment in the Supreme Court (SC), Geo News reported Friday.

The committee met under the chairmanship of Raza Rabbani and attended by Waseem Sajjad, S M Zafar, Ahsan Iqbal, Professor Khurshid, Afrasiab Khatak, Prof. Khurshid and other members.

Later, Raza Rabbani told media men that the Amendment was the property of the Parliament and the provinces and it would be defended in the Supreme Court. 'We have chalked out a plan for the purpose.'

According to some sources, some members were of the view that the precedent to summon the Parliament in court of law must not be set.
