ISLAMABAD: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq Sunday said no individual, organization or party can decide about Qitaal; only the incumbent government has the authority to do so.
Speaking in Geo News programme ‘Jirga’ hosted by senior anchor Salim Saafi, the JI Amir said a struggle against any vice can be termed Jihad.
“So much so that even cultivation of barren land and imparting of education are also Jihad,” he added.
He said Jihad has a vast meaning and tarnishing its name cannot be justified.
