MULTAN: Two terrorists of banned outfit, Ghulam Shabbir and Ahmed Ali alias Shish Nang have been hanged to death in Multan amid strict security, Geo News reported.
Both the militants were involved in the murder of DSP Nawaz Khan and four others and were sentenced to death by Anti-Terrorism Court of Multan. The Supreme Court of Pakistan had also upheld the penalty.
They were executed today after President of Pakistan rejected their mercy plea. Strict security measures were adopted on the occasion.
Ahmed Ali was involved killing three people in firing at a shop located at Railway Road in 1998.
The other convict, Ghulam Shabbir belongs to Khanewal and was involved in killing of DSP Nawaz Khan and his driver in 2000.
The families of both the terrorists held last meeting with them on Tuesday.
