ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Monday said that the same court Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan had earlier expressed his confidence in, he was now against it after losing, and in the same manner the Election Commission that he had lost hope in earlier, he was now putting his absolute faith in.
Responding to the statements made earlier by the PTI chief, the minister said that Imran Khan was being completely irrational and that all those who are being trusted by him at the moment should realise that they will be his next targets.
Rashid went on to say that Khan claims that rigging took place in the whole nation except for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Regarding Khan’s constant change of opinions and faith in others, the minister said that in a statement in the past Khan had claimed that the assemblies were fraudulent but the Senate was legit. He went on to say that, however, now Khan alleged that even the Senate is a sham.
Rashid further said that it was not entirely the PTI Chief’s fault since he had no knowledge of anything and that his advisors should be caught who are trying to make a mockery of their chief.
The minister also questioned that according to what law was PTI demanding that National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq should resign from his post.
