SYDNEY: Injuries continue to plague the Pakistan cricket team ahead of the World Cup as pacer Sohail Khan was sidelined during the team’s warm-up match against Bangladesh.
Sohail Khan has been advised to rest for two days by doctors after he injured his foot.
"Sohail suffered a cramp in his calf muscle and as a precaution he did not bowl after six overs," said a team media officer.
"He can still run without any problems and we hope he will be fine soon."
This is the third injury in the Pakistan squad after Junaid Khan and Mohammad Hafeez. The two have been replaced by Rahat Ali and Nasir Jamshed.
Pakistan will play their first match of the World Cup against India on Sunday (February 15).
