Melbourne: India won the toss and chose to bat in their World Cup Pool B match against South Africa at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.
Defending champions India kept the same team that beat Pakistan in their opener while South Africa, who saw off Zimbabwe in their first game, brought in Wayne Parnell for Farhaan Behardien.
