Quetta admin fails to implement price list

QUETTA: The district administration of Quetta failed to implement the price lists at Sunday Bazaars despite all its claims of control, Geo News reported Sunday.

The distraught people have to buy the chicken, beef, mutton, vegetables, fruits and other eatables at exorbitant prices which bludgeoned fourfold.

The people are all in protest on the non-implementation of price list issued by the government for Sasta Bazaars.

The people said they are having to purchase costly commodities despite the announcements by the government regarding cheap bazaars.

No special arrangements in this regard were seen at these bazaars, as the consumers complained the shopkeepers are selling things at prices set by themselves with no check and balance in sight.

Also, the shopkeepers did not bother to hang the price lists at their shops.
