LARKANA: A bloody dispute over ownership of a piece of land between Mugheri and Buk communities claimed lives of seven person including an Intelligence Bureau deputy director and injured seven others in village Pakho within the limits of Pakho police station near here on Thursday.
The bodies of both sides were shifted to Kambar Hospital for medico legal formalities while injured were rushed to Chandka Medical College Hospital for treatment.
The victims included 40-year Deedar Mugheri, 20-year Liaquat Mugheri, 28-year Ghulam Murtaza Mugheri, Mukhtiar Buk-- deputy director Intelligence Bureau who was posted at Islamabad and his driver 44 year Ashiq Buk.
The injured were Nawaz Buk, Munir Mugheri, Jamil Mugheri, Zahoor Mugheri, Razak Mugheri, Shahzor Mugheri and Zahid Lorar.
One man Manzoor Buk was killed in Khairpur Juso allegedly by his rivals when he was travelling in a wagon and another report said that Muhammad Bux Channo who was passing by the disputed area was also killed in cross firing.
Condition of three injured persons was described very serious by the duty doctors who were shifted to Surgical Unit-I for emergency operations.
Both communities alleged that they attacked first. (PPI)
