Siraj vows to bring revolution through democratic norms
PESHAWAR: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami, Sirajul Haq Sunday urged the Federal Government to rise above its political considerations and go after killers in Karachi and also allocate Rs500 billion package for uplift work in the metropolis.

Addressing a public meeting here, he said the country is faced with political and economic terrorism and the people were very disappointed with the situation.

Sirajul Haq proposed to form a Jirga for the resolution of Balochistan issue and offered his all out support in this regard.

He said his party will bring about a revolution in the country by conforming to the democratic norms.

The PTI Amir alleged that rigging was carried out in Karachi in the general elections of 2013 and his party had lodged several complaints with the concerned authorities against such practice.

He said along with the ongoing crackdown against criminals in Karachi, the city also needs a development package of Rs500 billion.

He said a handful of elites have hijacked the entire country and that they will have to be confronted by the people through unity.
