ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday said that the party would take the decision of returning to the Parliament after the agreed-upon judicial commission was formed.
Speaking to media representatives after attending a meeting of PTI’s executive committee, he said that Justice (retd) Wajihud Din’s recommendations have been approved and that intra-party polls would be held after the formation of a new PTI Election Commission.
Qureshi said all party posts except the chairmanship would be dissolved before the re-election within the party.
Meanwhile, the recently signed agreement between PTI and ruling PML-N has surfaced that proposes re-polls in the whole country simultaneously once the alleged rigging in the 2013 general elections are proven.
It also says the prime minister would dissolve the National Assembly himself.
The six-page-long pact carries spaces for the signatures of PPP and BNP-M besides mentioning approval on seeking ISI and MI’s assistance in the probe.
