QUETTA: At least two more children died Friday at a hospital in Quetta after they were administered a measles vaccine, raising the number of such deaths to five.
It was unclear what caused the deaths, but the parents of the children claim the measles vaccine caused the deaths.
The Director General of the Health department in Quetta said the deaths occurred due to stomach disorders, but said the real cause will we ascertained after receiving the results of blood tests, samples for which have been sent for examination.
