Altaf Hussain addresses massive rally in Karachi
KARACHI: Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) organized a massive rally on the Liaquatabad Fly-over on Shahra-e-Pakistan on Saturday to show its strength ahead of the NA-246 by-election.

Thousands of workers and supporters gathered in full force to show their support for the MQM.

The rally was addressed by candidate for NA-246 Kanwar Naveed as well as MQM leaders Faisal Subzwari, Farooq Sattar who paved the way for party chief Altaf Hussain’s address which is currently underway where he has appealed to all workers and supporters to maintain discipline.

Altaf Hussain invited PTI and JI to come to his house on the 23rd of April where they will be served sweet-meats. He added that on the 23rd no words of hate will be spoken and only words of love will be uttered.

Altaf Hussain lauded the presence of people from all walks of life and creed who came out to show support for MQM. He added the for the prosperity of the country on the 23rd all will stand united holding hands.

Earlier in the day, reviewing the preparations for the rally, Waseem Akhtar had spoken to Geo News and claimed that after MQM’s rally, out of the two parties contesting against them at least one wicket will fall.

Altaf Hussain congratulated MQM candidate Kanwar Naveed in advance for winning the by election in NA-246.

Altaf Hussain told the MQM workers to observe patience even in a case where someone uses abusive language against them. “You will get the fruit for your patience on April 23,” he added.
