ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday termed Saudi Arabia’s announcement to halt air strikes in Yemen as the significant development and said every Muslim considered the protection of Harmain Sharifain his foremost responsibility.
A delegation of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led by party co-chairman Asif Zardari visited Saudi Arabian embassy today.
Talking to Saudi Arabian charge d’affairs, Asif Zardari said his party has decided to send delegations to Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Saudi Arabia, Iran and other Muslim countries in order to resolve Yemen crisis.
He said Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and the present leadership of PPP stood by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
