‘Failed Multan rally’ has confounded Imran Khan: Rashid
ISLAMABAD: Immediately after conclusion of a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Multan, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said Friday the failed public meeting has confounded PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

In a statement issued here, he said Imran Khan’s pain was increasing as the country was progressing under his Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) rule.

“Instead of visiting Karachi, Mr Khan is having fun at a dance and music show in Multan,” he said referring to the cancelation of former’s scheduled trip to the Sindh capital in the wake of terrorist attack on Ismaili community.

The PTI chief, without mentioning names of PML-N and PPP, had said at the Multan rally that two parties have been taking their turns to come into power since 1970.

He said that Rs60 billion spent on metro bus project, if granted to the poor farmers, could have changed their fate.
