ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has accused elected government for creating obstacles in bringing peace in Karachi.
Talking to media outside the parliament house here Friday, Qureshi said, “Sindh Rangers was given responsibility for law and order in Karachi but now the elected government is creating obstacles in it.”
He went on to say that National Action Plan (NAP) was being implemented successfully for one year and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was serving as ‘captain’ of Karachi operation, but suddenly reservations were expressed over it.
Participation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement in the iftar party, hosted by former president Asif Ali Zardari, stunned Qureshi and he said on one hand MQM rejected Sindh budget and on the other hand it was participating in the iftar party.
