PESHAWAR: At least three people including a woman lost their lives as intermittent rainfall continues in Chitral where land erosion continues along the Bando Gol stream. Due to road closures people are facing shortage of food items and are unable to access medical facilities.
According to sources, 2, 85,000 people have been displaced due to storms and flooding.
Road closures have affected the Mastoj sub-division, Garam Chashma and the Kailash Valley. Due to continuing rainfall the Chitral River is in a state of flood. In Mastoj flood waters have partially damaged the Degree College building.
