CHITRAL: The rescue operation of the Pakistan Army in flood stricken Chitral continues.
According to the ISPR, a C-130 has left for Chitral with 500 family packets of food. Engineers of the Pakistan Army have completed repair work on Druze and Broz bridges and ground contact has resumed to Chitral.
The Pakistan Army has rescued 60 stranded people in Chitral while over 125 tonnes of ration has been distributed.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has directed the Pakistan Army for prompt relief activities in flood affected areas. Pakistan Army rescue operation continues in Chitral
