ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah has said the Supreme Court decision on applications against 18th and the 21st constitutional amendments was a stamp of approval on the decisions taken by the parliament.
Speaking in the National Assembly, the PPP stalwart welcomed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif decision not to support de-seating resolution against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
He also urged the Jamiat-e-Ulma-i-Islam and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to welcome the PTI MNAs in the house.
“Gone are the days when we used to pull each other's legs,” he said adding that he strengthening of system was a good sign for the country.
