PM Sharif inaugurates multiple development projects in Quetta

QUETTA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived here on a day-long visit Thursday morning to inaugurate multiple development projects in the provincial capital.

Federal ministers Chaudry Nisar Ali Khan and General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch were also accompanying the prime minister.

Shortly after arriving in Quetta, the premier inaugurated the Balochistan Agricultural University, Saryab Road flyover and an Underpass in the provincial capital.

The prime minister was later scheduled to be briefed on the law and order situation at the Governor House during a meeting that would also be attended by Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.

Strict security arrangements were in place for the prime minister’s visit to Quetta.
