ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervez Rashid on Thursday ruled out any kind of compromise in connection with the ongoing targeted crackdown on the criminal elements in Karachi.
Talking to media persons here, he said since Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) reservations are of political nature, they will be addressed politically.
He reiterated that Karachi operation is only targeting crimes and not any political party.
In connection with Pakistan’s ongoing campaign against terrorism, the Information Minister said even the president of Belarus termed operation Zarb-e-Azb in the interest of the rest of the world.
In his message for the Independence Day, Pervez Rashid said Quaid-e-Azam, throughout his life, did politics that was based on logic, and he never relied on use of force.
“The role of the Father of the Nation is a guiding light for the politicians,” he added.
