ISLAMABAD: A mild tremor was felt in Peshawar, Chitral, Shangla, Lower Dir and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baldistan late on Wednesday night.
The quake created panic among the residents who came out of their homes, however, no loss of life and property has been recorded.
Pakistan Meteorological Office has recorded 5.5 magnitude of the earthquake on the Richter scale and depth at 93 kilometers. Its epicenter was Hindukush region in Afghanistan.
