MULTAN: The identification of victims and injured of the Multan blast has been completed and its initial report was issued here on Monday.
At least 11 people including a four-year-old child and two women lost their lives and 58 others sustained injuries in the blast.
According to the initial report, the blast was not a suicide attack and around 6-7 kilograms of explosives material were used in the explosion. The attacker was moving the explosives from one place to another, however, it is being investigated what was the target.
Earlier, District Coordination Officer (DCO) Salim Zahid Gondal had declared it a suicide blast.
The samples of the two suspicious bodies, recovered from the site of the blast, were sent to laboratory for DNA test. According to DSP Maqbool Jatt the bodies had been identified as being of bystanders.
