Explosives, weapons seized in Hangu, DI Khan raids

HANGU: Security Forces on Saturday carried out raids on the hideouts of extremists and seized heavy amount of explosive material and weapons in Hangu.

According to Security Forces, dozens of anti-aircraft guns, rocket launchers, mortar shells, machine guns and bullets were recovered in a raid carried out in Dol Ragha area of Tehseel Tal.

On the other hand, 30 Kilograms of explosive material was also recovered from an extremist’s hideout in another raid conducted in Manatu area of Central Orakzai Agency.

The third raid was conducted jointly by police and intelligence agencies in various areas of Dera Ismail Khan in which 4 hand grenades, 90 detonators and 2 kalashanikovs were recovered.
