Four terrorists killed in Swabi police shootout

SWABI: At least four terrorists were killed in exchange of fire with police during search operation in Meni area of Swabi on Wednesday.

According to reports, police on a tip-off launched the search operation in the area, where terrorists resorted to firing. In retaliatory fire by police, four militants were killed while 35 suspects were taken into custody.

The terrorists killed in the shootout have been identified and they hail from Peshawar and tribal areas.

DPO Javed Iqbal arrived on the site of the incident and summoned more contingent of police.

Search operation was underway in the area.
